THAT is a gnat on a human finger.
OR as I like to think of it the totality of the contribution of democrats to the betterment of the Nation. I thought about leading with a photo of a fly buzzing around someone’s head while they are engaged in serious work but the fly is too big, too distracting but a gnat? A gnat is insignificant, irrelevant, and destined to be forgotten as soon as this happens:
For some reason that escapes me even today the democrats thought that making Joe Biden President of the United States was a good idea. THEN when they saw that putting together two words together that made sense was a problem they came up with Kamala Harris and the miscreant Tim Walz as their nominees for President and Vice President. What is truly remarkable about that is a substantial number of the rank and file democrats agreed with the rulers of their party who spent four intense years convincing the world that war was good and that men were repressed women just waiting to get pregnant and that male children couldn’t wait to join them. A fantasy which they continue to defend even today.
The democrats had no plan under Biden that was not based on destroying something that Trump 45 had fixed or God had ordained. And they did a fine job of that. So fine that they lost to Trump so badly in 2024 that they may never recover. If they do its our fault.
Disarray is too hopeful of a description of the state of today’s democrat party.
Nevertheless, the democrats at least those who still admit to being democrats, are behaving as if they won last November. So instead of productive restructuring and sincere soul searching they are deep into their same old, same old 60’s playbook of infantile temper tantrum and absurd name calling. It is a strategy based on the disparagement of the Republican rebuilders and reshapers and nothing more.
The democrats have no plan or interest in making anything great let alone America.
I am certain that somewhere within the democrat congressional delegation there a few good men and women willing to participate in Making America Great Again — it is time for them to step forward and remember the resistance slogan from the 60’s.
‘If you’re not part of the solution you’re part of the problem.’
To be clear, I am not saying anything to democrats that I have not said about some republicans from time to time. My own Representative, Thomas ‘Just say No’ Massie comes to mind. Wanting to stop absurd spending is a legitimate goal but basing your entire career on simply saying “No” without an alternative plan is as decidedly un-helpful as the democrats “resistance” just for the sake of resistance.
The democrats and Mr. Massie have a choice. They can continue to be this guy:
Or they can chose to be this guy:
