Back To The Oasis

Those of you who have been with me since sometime shortly after January 18, 2022 know that my wife is being treated for metastatic breast cancer in her bones. Her treatments have been designed and are overseen by the doctors at The Oasis of Hope Hospital in Tijuana, Mexico. The Oasis of Hope is an integrative oncology center with an excellent record for helping cancer patients from around the globe; all of whom who have come to the understanding that there must be and there are alternatives traditional cancer treatments that are far more effective in helping patients manage their disease and maintain a high quality of life. And to be fair and open we also have an oncologist locally whom we trust and who accepts and works with our treatment decisions.

It is time for us to return to The Oasis. For second year in a row we will celebrate Thanksgiving among friends both old and new, many of whom we consider to be family.

If you read those prior submissions you will get the sense that this journey has not been without concern but each time that concern has been erased. We look forward with anticipation and hope — something that many stage 4 cancer patients cannot do.

We are grateful and thankful for the doctors and staff a The Oasis of Hope.
