AN UPDATE TO: “ANOTHER DAY…”
Down The Rabbit Hole We Go
If you believe that the alleged “star” of pornographic films was treated badly by President Trump and she was defamed through one or more mean statements or Tweets I am sorry to tell you that the 9th Circuit Court, the most liberal circuit court in America, continues to disagree with you.
Furthermore, the recent indictment of President Trump hinges on alleged illegal payments to disgraced attorney and convicted felon Michael Cohen. Said payments were allegedly paid by President Trump through Cohen to the porn “star” who entered into a Non Disclosure Agreement constructed by Cohen WITHOUT President Trump’s knowledge using Cohens OWN private funds obtained through a Home Equity Line Of Credit (HELOC) on his own residence. How do we know this? Because Cohen’s own attorney told the Federal Election Commission that:
”In a private transaction in 2016 before the U.S. presidential election, Mr. Cohen used his own funds to facilitate a payment of $130,000.00 to Stephanie Clifford. Neither the Trump Organization nor the Trump Campaign was a party to the transaction with Ms. Clifford and neither reimbursed Mr. Cohen for the payment directly or indirectly.”
Here is a portion, according to D.A. Bragg, of what Michael Cohen pled guilty to which caused him to be sent to a federal prison for three years.
”[On] or about the summer of 2016,in coordination with, and at the direction of, a candidate for federal office, I and the CEO of a media company at the request of the candidate worked together to keep an individual with information that would be harmful to the candidate and to the campaign from publicly disclosing this information. After a number of discussions, we eventually accomplished the goal by the media company entering into a contract with the individual under which she received compensation of $150,000. I participated in this conduct, which on my part took place in Manhattan, for the principal purpose of influencing the election.”
So what is the truth here? First, it appears that Mr. Cohen decided on his own to payoff the porn “star” in exchange for her silence on her allegation that she and the President had a sexual encounter.
SHE says that it happened. HE says that it did not.
Even if it were true that President Trump had an encounter with the porn “star” in Nevada — he broke no law. EVEN if it is true that the President directed that Mr. Cohen take out a HELOC to enter into a Non Disclosure Agreement with the porn “star” there is still no illegality. Consenting adults are free to enter into contractual agreements. And EVEN if it is true that Mr. Cohen was reimbursed by the President under the heading of “retainer” — so what?
The porn “star” attempted to sue Trump for defamation because he said that she was running a “con” with respect to their alleged encounter. Her effort failed and she now owes the President more than $700,000.00 in legal fees which she is publicly refusing to pay. Cohen is not to be trusted. How do I know that? Because he went jail for committing perjury among other things.
On Wednesday, April 5, 2023 President Trump has been indicted and arraigned for committing a crime which does not exist. Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton remains unindicted for destroying evidence under subpoena AND Joe Biden and the DOJ have not been indicted for suppressing evidence showing a business relationship worth millions of dollars between Joe’s son, Hunter, and the Chinese government — an arrangement which garnered 10% for the “Big Guy” while the “Big Guy” was the vice president of the United States and subsequently a candidate for an elected federal office.
The indictment of Trump is clearly political. Why do I say that? Because the failure to indict Clinton or any Biden is clearly political.
