Centers for Disease Control and Prevention:
”Pledge to the American People
Be a diligent steward of the funds entrusted to our agency
Provide an environment for intellectual and personal growth and integrity
Base all public health decisions on the highest quality scientific data that is derived openly and objectively
Place the benefits to society above the benefits to our institution
Treat all persons with dignity, honesty, and respect”
I am at a complete loss of where to begin to unpack how each one of those statements is a complete fiction, a lie, a hoax. This story by Greg Piper, Justthenews.com, served to remind and enrage while providing an excellent view of where we are today and why CDC should not be trusted.
Today’s Newsletter is not going to be extensive - I simply do not have the stomach for it. The disgust is far too great. Besides, I’ve addressed each of these points in the past. Let’s begin at the beginning with the first of five elements of CDC’s “Pledge” to us.
Be a diligent steward of the funds entrusted to our agency
In Righting the Ship Part II I explained how CDC is using our tax dollars to donate to its own foundation.
”Both NIH and CDC are taking tax payer dollars appropriated by Congress for specific program areas, payroll, benefits, operating expenses and discretionary spending and giving a portion to The Foundation to support projects not contained in the CDC budget request. In short NIH (and) CDC appear to be “laundering money” to support projects that Congress hasn’t or won’t.”Provide an environment for intellectual and personal growth and integrity
An Agency with integrity is led by a person of integrity; a person who values the “right thing” in all aspects of their life - personal and professional. Following the law which you took an oath to follow is paramount.
In The Tortured Tenure of Rochelle Walensky, Director, CDC I explained how Rochelle Walensky, Director CDC has a documented history of ignoring the law and possibly breaking it in order to sell the narrative of the danger of SARS-CoV-2 by inflating mortality and case data. In CDC Protecting Its Own Health 24/7 I wrote about how she withheld data from the public and those data hungry public health officials at the state and local level who need ALL of that data to make honest and sound public health decisions. This includes parents who have to decide whether to have their children “vaccinated”.
Base all public health decisions on the highest quality scientific data that is derived openly and objectively
In Things That Make Me Nuts I presented a list of all those things that CDC told us about the science that the Agency’s own data refuted. From obfuscating the definitions of cases and COVID-19 related mortality to denying natural immunity and the effectiveness of the well studied documented efficacy of treatments, CDC’s history is a sad presentation of how one ignores their own demands to “follows the science” and basis its policy decisions and advice on a political agenda and purely financial considerations.
Place the benefits to society above the benefits to our institution
If the CDC was truly placing the benefits of society above the benefits of “our institution” then why did they allow the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) to participate in policy development regarding school openings? AFT’s participation in the process was not just a mere commentary on a proposed policy or guidelines presented for the Agency’s consideration. AFT’s participation went far beyond that and gave them access to the CDC staff and allows them to revise text which was incorporated into the CDC policy. In 30 years of working in one of the Centers of the CDC and writing federal policy I never say such unprecedented access and participation by a purely political group in the development of a CDC policy.
In fact, nothing that I’ve written about to this point has benefitted society. Not a single thing. Which brings me to number 5., the most inexplicable statement of all.
Treat all persons with dignity, honesty, and respect
This is simple. Treating people with dignity, honesty, and respect means that you don’t lie to them. You don’t withhold essential information. AND you don’t break the law that you were charged to obey and you took an oath to uphold.
CDC is not worthy of our trust or respect.
Qualifications for Overseers and Deacons
1Here is a trustworthy saying: Whoever aspires to be an overseer desires a noble task. 2Now the overseer is to be above reproach, faithful to his wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, 3not given to drunkenness, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. 4He must manage his own family well and see that his children obey him, and he must do so in a manner worthy of full [a] respect. 5(If anyone does not know how to manage his own family, how can he take care of God’s church? - 1Timothy 3:1-5
