This is a short list of those things that I believe are necessary to end the division among us that has been created by our politicians. It is my list. Others will have their list and I would be thrilled to have a conversation about your list and what you would include or remove from mine.
In producing this list I have tried to identify those things that have divided us and have robbed us of our freedoms and rights as intended by the Founders and expressed in the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. We can no longer tolerate the rancor caused by those who believe that the restrictions placed on the federal government by our Constitution are simply suggestions. To be clear, this list is not just a Joe Biden list. It is intended for EVERY president from this point forward. “No” means no. “All” means all. “Every” means every. IF Joe Biden or any other president, wants me to believe his call for unity following the failed assassination of President Trump he will do the following and his successors will continue to do the same:
Adhere to the Constitution as it is written; modify it only as it provides for its modification.
The reliance by the Executive Branch on the perceived power of its administrative agencies to make “laws” in order to circumvent Congress and the will of The People must stop immediately and all Cabinet level agencies must be instructed to remove any administrative law imposed on the People which has not been approved by Congress.
Provide for the Safety and Security of The People.
In order to provide for the safety and security of the people, order an immediate closing of both our Southern and Northern borders to any person who does not have a valid visa or passport. All asylum seekers will be required to seek asylum at a U.S. facility outside the United States. All those found to have entered illegally will be deported to their country of residence without delay.
Ensure the integrity of our electoral process.
Immediately, in a joint session of Congress demand legislation for a national law that requires a state issued photo identification card that verifies the bearer’s U.S. citizenship for the sole purpose of voting in ANY election at the local, state or federal level.
Strictly enforce the Bill of Rights.
The Bill of Rights (Amendments 1-10) guarantees individual rights and places limitations on federal, state and local governments that would erode individual rights. The administration’s war on the First Amendment must be stopped forthwith.
Stop ignoring Supreme Court decisions.
The Supreme Court is the buffer between a runaway executive branch and the people. It is there to ensure compliance with the Constitution by local, state, and federal government entities.
Order the immediate cessation of the practice of using administrative agencies AND THE DEPARTMENT OF JUSTICE to punish political opponents.
Order that all DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) components within the federal government be eliminated immediately and that all hiring at all levels be merit based only.
Stop fighting proxy wars and strictly enforce the War Powers Act.
Demand that Congress produce a balanced budget and that the national debt be eliminated.
Demand that Congress terminate the progressive income tax. A flat tax on people at all income levels — no exceptions, no deductions, no IRS — is a reasonable starting framework needing accommodation for those having no income.
As the Chief Executive of the federal government, issue an order preventing any government employee employed in any regulatory agency within the government from becoming employed by a private sector entity which is regulated by the agency in which they are currently employed, for at least five years following their last day of federal employment.
We are either going to restore our place as the "bright city on the hill” or we are going to allow the left to drag us into the despair of a Godless society created by the tyranny of the minority. To be sure, minority rights must always be protected but not elevated to a higher level than those of the majority. There must be a clearly stated recognition that the phrase “All men are created equal” truly means “all” and that no special laws are needed to protect the rights of any individual. Nor is any minority member of the Republic allowed to impose restrictions on the majority — this means that if you are a cake maker in Colorado you can refuse to make a cake for anyone you choose without explanation. “No” means no and “All”means all.
Either we are going to be a nation of just laws derived from our Creator or we are not. The choice is ours.
14“You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house.
16In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.” Matthew 5:14-16

Makes perfect sense to me.
Of course your proposal would completely de-fang the anti-American Left, which is why they will never support it.
But maybe we don’t need their support…..
Excellent points- you have nailed it. Thank you for this.
