The Harris-Walz Plan For Rural America

Williamstown, Kentucky

Williamstown, Kentucky, the county seat of Grant County, a dot on map of I-75 is roughly half way between Cincinnati, Ohio to the North and Lexington, KY to the south. Williamstown has a population of about 4,000 people and it is home to farm land, eleven churches, and the Ark Encounter. There is also a small hospital in Williamstown which provides limited services and is part of the Saint Elizabeth Health Care monopoly in Northern Kentucky. More on that later. Williamstown is rural America.

Yesterday Politico published The Harris-Walz plan for rural America: We Believe in Rural America. We Believe in Rural America is subtitled: Donald Trump Will Leave America Behind. One needs to go to page 2 of the Harris-Walz document to learn exactly how Donald Trump will leave behind Williamstown and the almost 20,000 other rural towns across America that are just like Williamstown. According to Harris, President Trump will intentionally leave rural America behind by implementing Project 2025. The problem that Harris continues to have with Trump and Project 2025 is that President Trump has repeatedly disavowed any connection with Project 2025. The last time that President Trump rejected the notion that he would implement Project 2025 was during the “debate” on September 10th. IF you want to know what Project 2025 is all about you can find it on your own because I’m not going to provide a link to it.

Back to Kamala and her plan for Rural America. As always, I suggest that you read her plan for yourselves because there is not enough duct tape in the world to keep my head from exploding if I try to go through a point by point analysis. However, I will tell you this about her scree. IF she is going to hurl accusations against the President or an innocent man whom she has falsely accused of murder she needs to do a far better job of documenting her accusations otherwise she’s just telling another lie. To be fair, Harris did not prosecute Jamal Trulove herself BUT she did supervise the prosecutor who did.

There are a small handful of things in her proposal that need to be addressed: Healthcare; income generation to reduce energy costs; building pathways to high paying jobs; and lowering grocery costs. I’ve chosen these four things because they are at the heart of what is wrong with everything about Vice President Harris’ plan and her attempt to woo the MAGA base.

HEALTHCARE

“Vice President Harris is helping increase funding for rural hospitals to bring critical care closer to residents, invested $130 million to train more nurses and physicians who will live and work in rural areas, and expanded telehealth options.”

This is nothing more than a way to expand Obamacare which is responsible for causing the closure of rural hospitals and increasing the cost of healthcare delivery and insurance throughout the nation. For example, the people who live in Williamstown, KY have to travel at least 40 miles to find more than basic emergency and urgent care or limited surgical care in either Lexington, KY or Florence, KY.

And then there is this:

“Vice President Harris is expanding access to life-saving naloxone to reverse opioid overdoses, empowering the distribution of millions of kits and approved naloxone for over-the-counter purchase, preventing hundreds of thousands of overdose deaths.”

The greatest cause of drug overdoses in the U.S. today is not from prescription opioids or the lack of access to Naloxone. The greatest cause is from fentanyl, and fentanyl laced drugs crossing our southern border along with the 15 - 20 million illegal immigrants that she has allowed to enter into the country as the current Vice President and THEN dispersing those same illegal immigrants and cartel members with their drugs throughout the U.S.

Close the border - stop the flow of fentanyl.

Reducing Energy Costs and Lowering Grocery Costs

I’ve combined these two because they have the identical solution and wage and price controls is not it. IF you want to simultaneously reduce energy costs and the cost of groceries then you need to increase oil and gas production. And that’s it. But Harris and Walz won’t do that because they support and promote the Green New Deal. One more thing. Harris will continue to support farm workers“through protections from extreme heat, the right to overtime pay, and stronger minimum wage provisions.” Again, Harris is promoting wage and price controls AND unionization of farm works as she protects them from “extreme heat” due to climate change. Under her plan food prices will continue to rise meteorically which she is already blaming on ‘price gouging grocers.’

Building Pathways to Higher Paying Jobs

“…by investing in rural technical and higher education programs and connecting small businesses with rural high schools.”

Government money AWAYS comes with government strings and in the case of the democrats and high school where this is directed those strings include the incorporation of lgbtq+ ideology into their curriculum.

We have seen this movie before and the ending is always the same regardless of where it was filmed: Russia, China, Venezuela — it matters little. Harris is offering nothing more than more money that she will have to print and a bleak future of government regulation of our food supply.

First it was healthcare now its our food.

Kamala Harris and Tim Walz and whom ever is behind them will destroy this great nation in just the blink of an eye.
