That’s the pile of papers on my desk that were going to be used to form this chapter. This chapter’s length and depth are right there.
But not really. You see, it is simply a pile of moral and righteous indignation at what the folks in the Blue Corner have been doing to steal our children, sow chaos, and destroy the church and the family.
The Blue Corner is enormously organized. The Blue Corner is wealthy beyond belief because of people like James Pritzker, Bill and Melinda Gates, and George Soros. The Blue Corner has the full support and dictat of the current administration. The Blue Corner has a media eager to push the LGBTQ+ ideology onto each of us — even though it makes no sense. The Blue Corner has a well placed number of judges who will eagerly trample the rights of the majority in favor the rights of the minority. The Blue Corner has corporate America selling us rainbow apparel and LGBTQ+ ideology because all the ‘kool kids’ are following it. The Blue Corner has a medical community that assures us that because God sometimes gets this whole gender thing wrong — they can fix it. Worst of all, the Blue Corner has churches, Christian and Jewish, filled with pastors, priests and rabbis who eagerly explain to us that the Bible means something other than what it says and that the Torah is a living document open to cultural interpretation.
The Red Corner has no organization, no federal government backing it, no cadre of rich benefactors, no corporate giants touting the value of family and church. No media giants dominating our news and social media. But we do have pockets of resistance.
We have small law practices around the country willing to take on the Blue Corner. We have small parent organizations and even individual parents willing to stand up to school boards that believe that they are the real moral authority for our children to follow. We have a few state legislatures and governors eager to pass laws that protect our children, families and churches. We have a few churches and pastors, priests, and rabbis willing to stand in front of the Blue Corner and proclaim the truth; God’s truth and at the end of each and everyday we have, have had, and will always have God in our corner.
Today is one of those days in which reminders of God’s truth and power cross my path. Today there were two. First, there is this bit about David and Saul from an article by Andrew Isker on Gab News. Isker writes:
“You might wonder, what does this story about an iron age conflict between a mad king and his greatest warrior have to do with us here in 21st Century America? We live beneath a rule very much like Saul. Instead of wielding the sword God has given them against criminals and against those who do great evil, what do our rulers do? They use it to defend the murder of children. Our state (MN) is about to pass a bill that will allow the murder of babies right up to birth with zero restrictions whatsoever. Each week there is a new level of depravity our rulers stoop to, new horrors they foist upon us.
For many Christians, it is incredibly discouraging. It seems like things continue to get worse and worse. Some assume this means the end of time and space is near, and God will have us float up into the sky at some point. Others who don’t buy into end-times mania will still get wrapped up in an expectation that the collapse of America is right around the corner, which means we get a nice clean blank slate to start over.
Neither of these is how God wants His people to live. This does not mean throwing all caution to the wind and refusing to pay attention to things going on. You should follow trends and plan accordingly. But for 2000 years of Christian history, great world empires have risen and fallen, but God’s people have remained.”
Such is God’s truth.
While there are many things that we can do to combat this evil, of all of those things the only one that can carry the day is God. God does want us to stand fast against evil but he also wants us to show our faith in him and devotion to him with the promise that He will fight the final battle and be victorious.
The second thing that was given to me today was a stunning golden yellow, full moon low on the Union, KY horizon. It was the promise of new day given by God and a reminder of His power and grace.
