I posted this as a Note but it deserves much more. Walt Heyer has been there and done that and regrets every moment of his efforts to change what God has wrought. In his case God made him a man but people, including his grandmother began grooming him as early as 4 years old in an effort to convince him that he really was a girl. Others in Mr. Heyer’s position have also expressed their regret at rebelling against God’s design.
The negative impact that transgenderism is having on our culture can’t be overstated. But for some reason that is completely unclear to either the secular or religious mind there has been a dramatic increase in the activism of the transgender community and those who support it. California has declared itself to be a sanctuary state and Washington state has a newly introduced bill with the intent to allow it to hide a child from its mother and father if they refuse to provide “gender affirming care” to the child and child leaves the home to find it. These two bills provide no exceptions.
This is where it becomes vital to listen to people like Walt Heyer and not “influencers” like Dylan Mulvaney.
So — who is Dylan Mulvaney and what is an “influencer”?
Dylan Mulvaney was born Dylan Mulvaney in San Diego, CA and graduated from the College Conservative of Music (CCM) at the University of Cincinnati in 2019 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in musical theater. CCM is a renowned school which has produced many well known actors and musicians. After he graduated Mulvaney had a growing career in musical theater— until there was COVID. When COVID stuck Mulvaney found himself out of work but discovered that being transgender on social media was lucrative. So lucrative that Mulvaney documented his “transition” to a “woman” on TikTok where he garnered almost 11,000,000 followers. Daily, Mulvaney described his hormone treatments and his facial feminization surgeries (FFS) to an eager audience. However, there is no record of Mulvaney describing any surgery involving castration and so “Ms.” Mulvaney still has his penis. It is hard to imagine a woman with a penis. Nor has Mulvaney found a way to swap a single one of his XY chromosomes for an XX chromosome — everyone of his cells are still male.
In 2020 when Mulvaney decided to become a “woman” his net worth was essentially $0.00; today it is in the neighborhood of $1,500,000 and he has his newly reconstructed face on cans of Bud Light thanks to a “marketing genius” at Anheuser-Busch who thought the brand needed to be more “diverse”; a move which cost Anheuser-Busch more than $5,000,000,000 in less than two weeks.
While Anheuser-Busch is struggling to protect its brand Mulvaney is raking the cash in as a celebrity “influencer”.
An influencer, I am told, is:
“…someone who has:
the power to affect the purchasing decisions of others because of his or her authority, knowledge, position, or relationship with his or her audience.
a following in a distinct niche, with whom he or she actively engages. The size of the following depends on the size of his/her topic of the niche.
It is important to note that these individuals are not merely marketing tools, but rather social relationship assets with which brands can collaborate to achieve their marketing objectives.” (emphasis added)
Bottom line? Mulvaney is a marketing asset. He his important because he makes money for himself and, theoretically, others. The CEO of Anheuser-Busch may have a different view of Mr. Mulvaney’s importance as a marketing “asset”.
What Mr. Mulvaney is really good at is creating chaos and confusion among his 10.8 million followers who apparently believe that Mulvaney, in a great act of courage, is correcting God’s error while making a lot of money in the process.
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. Genesis 1:27
But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? “Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’ ” Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use? Romans 9:20-21
