Watch this video, it is titled: The Biblical Reason Christians Should Boycott Target. It appears on Instagram, at least for now, and it was posted by Ryan Miller and it was reposted by Toronto Blue Jays pitcher Anthony Bass.
Shortly after reposting that video in which Miller provides a scriptural basis for boycotting businesses that are pushing the LGBTQ+ agenda Bass was made to appear at a press conference, in his Blue Jays uniform, where he said the following:
“I recognize yesterday I made a post that was hurtful to the Pride community, which includes friends of mine and close family members of mine. And I am truly sorry for that. I just spoke with my teammates and shared with them my actions yesterday. I apologized with [sic] them, and as of right now I am using the Blue Jays’ resources to better educate myself to make better decisions moving forward. The ballpark is for everybody. We include all fans at the ballpark. We want to welcome everybody. That’s all I have to say.” (emphasis added)
In other words, Mr. Bass, a citizen of the United States of America has been forced to pay a penalty for speaking the truth as he is free to do under the First Amendment. Bass’ penalty was public humiliation and a trip to the Toronto Blue Jays re-education camp where he will no doubt learn that 1) being a Christian, 2) believing in the U.S. Constitution, and 3) and holding views other than those of a DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) official in Major League Baseball (MLB) are all banned activities subject to both private and public humiliation.
Forcing Mr. Bass to hold that press conference and to make that well crafted apology is, in fact, bullying at the hands of the Toronto Blue Jays and MLB. In short, Mr. Bass has been the object of Trans-terrorism.
This is a post on my FB page. I am generally not a fan of boycotts, with rare exceptions. The fight against the forced acceptance of transgender ideology and its imposition on our children is clearly one of those exceptions.
MLB can be added to the list.
1Follow God’s example, therefore, as dearly loved children
2and walk in the way of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. 3But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God’s holy people. 4Nor should there be obscenity, foolish talk or coarse joking, which are out of place, but rather thanksgiving. 5For of this you can be sure: No immoral, impure or greedy person—such a person is an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God. [a] 6Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of such things God’s wrath comes on those who are disobedient.
7Therefore do not be partners with them. 8For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light 9(for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth) 10and find out what pleases the Lord. 11Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them. 12It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. 13But everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light. Ephesians 5:1-12 the scripture that offended MLB.
