DISNEY PRESENTS THE THEATER OF THE ABSURD.
What Kind Of A Person Thinks Like This And How Low Is Corporate America Willing To Go?
Good news and bad news. First, the good news; Walt Disney Company Senior Vice President and Chief Diversity Officer Latondra Newton is out. Now the bad news; she will most certainly be replaced because the folks at Disney think that it is their job to ensure that “… every person sees themselves and their life experiences represented in a meaningful and authentic way.”
I wish that it were possible to sit down and chat with Disney CEO, Bob Iger. I think that it would be a fascinating conversation to learn how the head of an entertainment company that began with Steamboat Willie in 1928 has suddenly become the authority how one should make their life “meaningful and authentic”.
I am trying desperately to figure out who thinks like this and why no one ever told them that they’re nuts and more importantly, that it is none of their business or responsibility to decide how anyone should live life OR to direct them to a life style that is a contrived and as unreal as Steamboat Willie and the subsequent Magic Kingdom.
When did Disney, Target, Anheuser-Busch, MLB, NBA, WNBA, NFL, the Democrat Party, Joe Biden, Dick Durbin, Nancy Pelosi, and anyone who supports them come to believe that God is only offering an opinion on gender? Maybe they arrived at this conclusion when they became the parent corporation of thirty-seven separate companies - including ABC News, ESPN, HULU, and National Geographic.
Nevertheless, this is what Disney believes is their DEI responsibility: “Disney is committed to celebrating an inclusive, respectful world. We create authentic and unforgettable stories, characters, experiences, and products that capture the imagination of our global audiences.”
Here is one of those “authentic characters”:
Last year Ms. Newton decided that greeting boys and girls at the gate with terms appropriate to boys and girls was no longer appropriate because it was not consonant with “gender inclusivity”.
How has all of this affected Disney’s bottom line? Well — in 2020 Bob Chapek replaced Bob Iger as Disney CEO. On March 08, 2021 Disney shares reached an all time high of $201.91. And then the bottom fell out as Disney decided to challenge the authority of the State of Florida and its Governor, Ron DeSantis over its commitment to LGBTQ+ ideology. Disney shares plummeted and Bob Chapek was replaced by Bob Iger but that hasn’t stopped Disney’s commitment to LGBTQ ideology or the its plunge in the marketplace.
Today, June 23, 2023 Disney is selling for $88.49.
Target, another significant proponent of LGBTQ ideology which also markets directly to children has also incurred the wrath of the American consumer. On November 16, 2021 Target stock closed at $257.58. As of today, June 22, 2023 the price is $132.39.
These are precipitous drops in price but still Disney, Target, and Anheuser-Busch which is also experiencing the wrath of the American people, are holding firm in their commitment to LGBTQ+ ideology and they are apparently willing to lose millions in order to prove that the customer is never right.

It's nothing new. Think about the movie "Bambi." We are led to believe that the forest is a wonderful, tranquil place where everything was fine until the men came in with their "thundersticks".
I watched a really disgusting animated Diseny show with my grandchildren about a lion cub whose "destiny" was to be king of the jungle. The show actually depicted this cub leading all the animals to safety from some natural calamity. Never mind that, in reality, lions don't lead any of the other animals, they EAT them. I stressed to my grandkids that this show was indoctrination into believing that they're supposed to be the leaders and the led, and that it had nothing to do with reality.
Speaking of Steamboat Willie and all animal animations ever since, they were never about animals, they're about us. Real animals don't talk (or whistle). As I see people talk about how man is invading space that other animals have "a right to", I suggest that maybe they've been watching too many Disney movies. The hate that I receive from them strongly suggest that I'm right, and they know it.
The computer Larry wrote this on, the electricity Larry used to keep that computer on, the vehicle he uses to get around, all have DEI statements and are supportive of LGBTQ persons. I can't wait to see Larry go full luddite to avoid those darn gays! I mean otherwise you are supporting the rainbow people.
