It's nothing new. Think about the movie "Bambi." We are led to believe that the forest is a wonderful, tranquil place where everything was fine until the men came in with their "thundersticks".

I watched a really disgusting animated Diseny show with my grandchildren about a lion cub whose "destiny" was to be king of the jungle. The show actually depicted this cub leading all the animals to safety from some natural calamity. Never mind that, in reality, lions don't lead any of the other animals, they EAT them. I stressed to my grandkids that this show was indoctrination into believing that they're supposed to be the leaders and the led, and that it had nothing to do with reality.

Speaking of Steamboat Willie and all animal animations ever since, they were never about animals, they're about us. Real animals don't talk (or whistle). As I see people talk about how man is invading space that other animals have "a right to", I suggest that maybe they've been watching too many Disney movies. The hate that I receive from them strongly suggest that I'm right, and they know it.

The computer Larry wrote this on, the electricity Larry used to keep that computer on, the vehicle he uses to get around, all have DEI statements and are supportive of LGBTQ persons. I can't wait to see Larry go full luddite to avoid those darn gays! I mean otherwise you are supporting the rainbow people.

You missed the point completely haven't you? OR more likely what I wrote concerns you and so you have chosen to misstate every word to make it appear that I wrote something other than what I wrote. It is a tired and worn tactic of the left. Nobody buys it.

I thought the same thing as I read the comment. What has anybody's gender or personal choices have to do with technological advances? NOTHING.

Have gays been involved in technological advances? Yes. Have straights been involved in technological advances? Yes. Is their sexuality in any way relevant to the technological advances? No.

It's kind of sad that people go around proclaiming "Gay pride". Do straights go around proclaiming "Straight pride"? What's to be proud of? Is anyone "proud" of the color of hair they were born with? Proud of being male or female? These are not accomplishments. The don't make you more noteworthy or important to society. Now, if someone invents a better computer chip, a cure for a disease, or a more efficient energy distribution system, THEY have something to be proud of. I will respect them for their accomplishment, and never ONCE ask nor care about their sexuality.

Have you ever had your right to getting married, having housing, being able to adopt restricted because of your sexuality? Have you ever been denied a job or assaulted because people didn't like who you were sexually attracted to? I am guessing not. When you go through a lifetime of people saying you are a perversion, unnatural, an affront to God etc, it takes a tremendous mental tole. So Pride is a way to shake of the negative stigma and show that we aren't going anywhere, and we have nothing to be ashamed of.

My comment on the technological piece is that Larry is proposing a boycott/economic strike of a handful of companies he deems "woke". I was pointing out that basically every facet of modern society, from electricity to transportation, food to technology is also equally supportive of the LGBTQ agenda, and if he wanted to be fully consistent with his beliefs that he would have to live out in a tent out in the woods. Participating in modern society means economically funding pro LGBTQ elements, and thats fact.

Why was is it necessary to tell people that you want to do business with that you're a member of the LGBTQ+ community? Simple -- to create problem where none exists and then call it discrimination.

LGBTQ+ individuals can accomplish all of the those things that marriage does -- contractually. After all "marriage is a contract" and you are free to contract with anyone you wish on any issue wish. What you were not allowed to do was drag children into it. But the LGBTQ+ community did and therein lies the problem.

the Bible is clear on issues of homosexuality and transgenderism.

I proposed a two day GENERAL economic boycott which is my response to being forced to fund activities and a philosophy that violates my religious AND scientific beliefs which happen to coincide.

The whole world is not dependent on the LGBTQ+ community which has become a disruptive and demanding element which is insisting on dragging children into their waiting arms.

By the way, "pride" is not an accomplishment - it is a feeling and nothing more.

On one hand LGBTQ seniors have been denied housing:

https://prismreports.org/2023/01/19/queer-trans-elders-housing-discrimination/

Countless queer folks have been fired solely for being gay:

https://www.them.us/story/man-fired-for-being-gay-sues-employer

Gay couples are routinely denied the ability to adopt:

https://www.wlns.com/news/st-vincent-catholic-charities-wins-settlement-that-allows-charity-to-deny-adoption-to-lgbtq-couples/

But Larry says nah huh doesn't happen. So I guess it doesn't! Its "Fake News" as you say.

Larry's thoughts >>>>>> People's lived and documents experiences.

Do we live in a theocracy or a Democracy? If you would protest living under Sharia law, then don't make religion the backbone of public policy. Christianity is on the decline and other religions are rising, and I don't think you will want to live under their rule.

Your boycott will do nothing, and be noticed by no-one outside your blog readers. Anything to suggest otherwise is a delusion of grandeur.

"disruptive and demanding element" I thought you only hated the sin Larry, seems a whole like you just hate Queer folks in general...Do you have any gay friends? Do you personally know any gay people?

And yes, when society has lead to a rash of suicides for queer youth, the simple act of existing and surviving is an act of protest against people who want to shove them back into the closet. So yes happy Pride!

Have you ever been called a racist simply for criticizing Barak Obama? Have you ever been called a White supremacist simply for speaking against the incessant persecution of Doanld Trump? Have you ever been hated on just for QUESTIONING people's climate beliefs? Have you ever been denied a job, for being WHITE? Have you ever been pushed aside from college admission, to make way for a black or a woman, and most especially a black woman? We have institutional racism in this country. Institutional racism AGAINST straight, White men. So, spare me all your hurt feelings about how anybody else suffers.

I experience ALL of that, on a regular basis. I hear the hate and intolerance from people just like you. You seem pretty good at being all sensitive about some people, but to hell with the rest of us. That makes YOU the bigot.

So, how are incensed are you that first cousins who want to get married are forbidden to do so? You never even thought about it, right? Why not? I've bothered to think about it. I've bothered to think about a LOT of things outside of the preplanned propganda points that get drummed into us incessantly. Here's another one; what about incest? Is sex between brothers and sister wrong? Why can't THEY get married? It's a fact that they have EXACTLY the same constitutional rights as a gay couple. So, explain why gays can get married, and brothers and sisters can't. Why haven't you ever even THIOUGHT about this? Its because you've never developed an idea inside your own head, EVER, right? You just repeat the talking points of your handlers. I don't HAVE a handler and don't want one. My opinions are MY opinions.

Here's something else for you to think about. If two gay first cousins want to get married, do they have the right to get married because they are gay, or NOT, because they are first cousins?

I can go on and on about what I call progressive idiotology. I can, and I do, and I will continue to do so. Get used to it.
