THE "BOOK" OF PRESIDENTS FROM KENNEDY TO TRUMP
My Personal Trip Down Memory Lane And My Reason For Optimism For Our Future

Once upon a time, I was a registered democrat. That was when our candidates were heroes and until the era of Lyndon Johnson when Party became more important than Nation. I thought that Jimmy Carter would change that but he proved to be two things - a wonderful human being and the most inept president to walk the earth. But still I didn’t learn the lesson of a democrat party that was rapidly shifting from the Kennedy era in which the phrase “all men are created equal” was understood as a challenge to greatness and racial equality to the socialist party of today. During Kennedy’s short presidency no challenge was too great and because of his leadership and belief in who we are we watched men fly to the moon, walk on its surface and return unharmed all because of his desire to make America live up to its potential and take its place in the sun. He kept us safe. The economy was good. But more importantly he made us proud to be Americans. He made America Great Again. Perhaps that’s why the “New Democrat Party” refuses to mention his existence.
And there was the Republican Martin Luther King Jr. who brought the plight of black America to the forefront of our National conscience. And, of course Robert F. Kennedy who promised to continue the work of his brother. But assassins took them and all but snatched our sense of place, purpose and moral direction.
Nevertheless, that sense of place lasted well into my adulthood still buoyed by Jack Kennedy’s powerful admonition “Ask not what your country can do for you but what you can do for your county.” It even overcame the buffoonery of Lyndon Johnson and his malicious approach to racial equality through his “Great Societies” program which ended up destroying three generations of Black American’s ability to ride the wave of prosperity, sense of belonging, and the hard won equality of the Kennedy era. Johnson bought their votes with promises of a better tomorrow bolstered by cheap subsidized housing, food, welfare programs, and forced “equality” though busing, and affirmative action. All of that allowed him to begin to replace God and family with the federal government. The black nuclear family was destroyed for many black families. Fathers ran off, mothers were paid for each new child, and Planned Parenthood clinics were deeply entrenched in predominantly Black neighborhoods throughout America.
Jimmy Carter gave us lines at the gas pump, double digit mortgage rates, inflation, recession, and a dramatically failed attempt to rescue our embassy staff held hostage in Tehran by a new theocratic regime in Iran that hated and still does hate both Israel and the United States.
Then there was Ronald Reagan, adored by many for providing us with that sense of place, once again who gave us that image of our Nation as the “shining city on the hill” (see Matthew 5:15-16 for reference). He made us feel proud and responsible once again and that is when we were visited by the Clinton’s and Bush's who led us to the endless wars in the Middle East that mostly made no sense but more importantly they led us threshold of socialism American style and in the case of Clinton the introduction of DEI.
Obama sealed the deal as he “fundamentally transformed America” by the government take over of our healthcare system with the help of so-called conservatives and began to institutionalize DEI and kept us distracted by creating a deep racial division once again but included cultural division by making LGBTQ+ philosophy a part of the American psyche. And if those two things weren’t damaging enough Obama introduced the weaponization of our own government against his political opponents.
And then came Trump. They called him a joke but that was after they all courted him for his money and begged for him to give interviews. Trump ripped the blinders off of eyes of America and ushered in an all too brief period rivaled only by the “Roaring Twenties”. ISIS was vanquished, the Taliban defeated, the Mullahs held at bay and we were at peace. The economy soared and truly lifted all boats particularly the life boats carrying black and hispanic Americans, and women. Trump made all of that happen not because of government programs but because he removed the restraint of government interference and taxation on corporate America. Once agin there were jobs; lots and lots of jobs. Taxes were lowered. Accountability was restored. Promises made were promises kept. Preferential treatment based on LGBTQ ideology was replaced with performance and merit based hiring and advancement. In short Trump threatened the political elite of the so-called uni-party. He had to be destroyed.
And so an election rigged in multiple different ways stole a second Trump term and gave the Oval Office to Joe Biden who really never campaigned and was known by his former boss as a guy who could": “f___ anything up.” Some how Biden managed to get more votes than even his former boss who was the most popular president since Jack Kennedy. But stealing an election wasn’t enough. The left had to make certain that Trump would never see the inside of the White House again.
It all began with impeachment talk BEFORE he had taken the oath of office and two failed impeachment attempts including one AFTER he had left office followed by an endless string of nonsensical indictments, trials, and manufactured findings of guilt for non-crimes.
And here we are. Trump was well ahead in his race to regain the Oval Office against the Parkinson’s afflicted Joe Biden. Multiple impeachments, a stolen election, years of personal attacks and mischaracterizations of his presidency, the weaponization of the Department of Justice against him, the vicious almost decade long assault of the media against he and his supporters, and an assassination attempt all failed to stop Trump and his quest to truly make America great again. Something had to be done and done it was.
In any other country on Earth what happened to Joe Biden would be called a coup but here in the USA it was just democrat business as usual — ignore the rules, ignore the law, and install the least popular but most malleable candidate any political party has ever seen into Joe Biden’s slot as the democrat presidential candidate. Kamala Harris has become the only presidential candidate in the modern era to become her party’s standard bearer without having received one single vote from any member of the Democrat Party.
Oddly enough (insert eye roll) Kamala Harris has been in hiding ever since. But then we’re talking about the queen of word salad and of inappropriate hysterical laughter who on the flip side is vicious in her quest for power; just ask Jamal Trulove the man who spent more than six years in prison for a murder he didn’t commit. There is good reason she stays where ever it is that she is staying.
Harris’ choice of the miscreant Governor of Minnesota, Tim Walz as her running mate was the most bizarre and insulting pairing in my memory. There is nothing either genuine or likable about Tim Walz.
Meanwhile, Donald Trump has earned the endorsements of two outstanding people, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and former democrat Representative, Tulsi Gabbard. Kennedy’s endorsement came after a series of one-on-one meetings with Trump. Kennedy explained that his decision to partially suspend his campaign and to endorse Trump was made after much prayer and tough conversation with both Trump and his family. It was not a decision made lightly.
Gabbard announced her decision to endorse Trump following several weeks serving as the “Harris” substitute during debate preparation. There is no better way to get to know someone than to debate them AND at the same time teach them. That’s what debate preparation is all about. There is no doubt in my mind that if Tulsi Gabbard had any doubts about Donald Trump she never would have endorsed him.
And then there is Elon Musk who ended the the reign of censorship of conservative voices on X (Twitter), built a reusable rocket booster and reliable space craft, and an electric vehicle that really works.
Finally, Trump has sought and accepts the counsel of Franklin Graham.
For those of you familiar with Ayn Rand’s tour d’force, Atlas Shrugged, the building of a bi-partisan team by Trump should feel comfortable and give good reason for hope.
We now find ourselves in the midst of a great challenge. Do we accept the new status quo of a majority that governs based on minority rights and equity of outcome rather than equality of opportunity OR do we restore a government hard won by our founders? Do we chose party or do we choose liberty? James Madison the principal creator of our Constitution had this to say about Parties:
”Complaints are everywhere heard from our most considerate and virtuous citizens, equally the friends of public and private faith, and of public and personal liberty, that our governments are too unstable; that the public good is disregarded in the conflicts of rival parties; and that measures are too often decided, not according to the rules of justice, and the rights of the minor party, but by the superior force of an interested and overbearing majority. These must be chiefly, if not wholly, effects of the unsteadiness and injustice, with which a factious spirit has tainted our public administrations.
By a faction, I understand a number of citizens, whether amounting to a majority or minority of the whole, who are united and actuated by some common impulse of passion, or of interest, adverse to the rights of other citizens, or to the permanent and aggregate interests of the community.” Federalist 10, 1787
The Book of Kings is replete with stories of good kings and bad kings. The clear difference between the “good kings” and the “bad kings” is the presence of God in their lives and as a guide for how they govern.
Prayer is always at the center of the rule of “good kings”.

I would rethink the notion of wonderful human being for Carter. That is one if the biggest scam PR campaigns of the 20th century. He was a meddlesome busybody much like BillGates using his philanthropic mask ( think habitat for humanity) to solicit the likes of Yassir Arafat). Thats just one example. His Logan Act criminal behaviour never got the press coverage it deserved
A smarmy man , a Bill Gates phony.
There are those who live by principle, the golden rule. And there ae those who live by mob rule.
There are those who ponder and consider. And there are those who obey.
