Larry, humans can have more than 1 x or y chromosome per cell:

XXY (Klinefelter Syndrome): Individuals with this chromosomal pattern are typically male but may have smaller testicles and reduced fertility. They might also exhibit some physical and behavioral differences.

XXX (Triple X Syndrome): Females with an extra X chromosome might not show significant physical differences but can have issues with learning or behavior.

XYY (Jacob's Syndrome): Males with an extra Y chromosome are usually taller than average and might face challenges with learning or behavior, though many lead normal lives without significant health issues.

These conditions arise due to errors during the formation of reproductive cells or early cell division after conception. They can affect physical, developmental, or cognitive aspects but the impact varies widely among individuals.

I wonder how the modRNA countermeasures impact this condition.
