I get the part about uninformative solar eclipse reporting. Modern 'journalism' is dedicated to promoting their narrative, not informing.

I have noticed, and I wish everyone did, that the WSJ and AP. among others, never miss a chance to mention 'Trump's false claims' concerning the 2020 election. They use those exact words, 'Trump's false claims' incessantly, almost regardless of what they're reporting on. Yet, the NEVER specify what those claims are, or how they know them to be false.

Of course, 'climate change' is the same. Today, any adverse weather event is 'climate change.' Yet, perfectly nice, sunny days are NOT climate change. That is non-sensical non-logic. You don't have to be an ignorant fool to be a 'journalist', but it certainly helps.

What if I added evolution to the list?

I'm not sure what point you're making.

Its overkill with a highly inflammatory subject.

I agree. But here is a difference between evolution and climate change.

Climate change hysteria and the dumb moves that get made as a result, are costing trillions, and affecting lives in serious ways. Not to mention that demagogues are manipulating the 'issue' as a means to amassing power.

Evolution v creationism has no economic consequences, and whatever demagogues there are not on the verge of taking over governments.

But the notion, the evolutionary notion that gender can be manipulated has cost the nation dearly as well. I guess the larger issue is this: When will we stop trying to replace the truth with ideology?

Yes. Ideology and evolution are nothing alike. Unless it's true what they say about social Darwinism.
